Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has issued special instructions to commissioners and deputy commissioners across the province for celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ with religious enthusiasm and dignity. She directed all districts to ensure special decorations for the occasion and to give markets and other public places a uniform theme. Commissioners and deputy commissioners have also been asked to share photos and videos of the arrangements and decoration work.

The chief minister instructed authorities to ensure special cleanliness at mosques, streets, markets and venues where Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ gatherings and processions will be held.

She also ordered cleanliness before and after the celebrations, along with the sprinkling of rose water at venues of Milad gatherings.

Maryam Nawaz further directed deputy commissioners to ensure effective coordination among all relevant departments for the smooth holding of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ events in their respective districts.
