Lahore Police have increased the fee for departmental service cards due to rising inflation, according to police sources.
According to police sources, the fee for obtaining a new service card was previously Rs. 250, but it has now been increased to Rs. 400. Similarly, the renewal fee for departmental service cards has also been raised by Rs. 150.
Sources said that service cards for officers and personnel who submitted their applications one month ago have not yet been printed. Cards are reportedly being issued only to those who have paid the additional fee.
SP Headquarters Munazza Karamat has directed officers and personnel to immediately apply for a new service card if their current card is damaged, expired, or lost.
She further stated that personnel from district police and city traffic police can collect their cards from Police Lines.
