Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said the Safe City Authority has been launched across the province to strengthen public safety and improve law enforcement.

Addressing the passing-out ceremony of lady police officers at the Police Training College in Lahore on Thursday, she said her government remains committed to making Punjab safer for women.

Maryam Nawaz said women’s safety and empowerment are among the provincial government’s top priorities.

She congratulated the largest-ever batch of female police officers on completing their training and expressed confidence that they will play an important role in maintaining law and order and serving the public.
