Quick Share now supports file sharing with Apple’s AirDrop, allowing Xiaomi users to send photos, videos, and files to Apple devices without using third-party apps.

On supported Xiaomi devices, users should be able to open Quick Share and see nearby Apple devices in the sharing menu, as long as the Apple device is discoverable.

Xiaomi joins other Android brands in adding AirDrop compatibility through Quick Share. Google previously introduced the feature on the Pixel 10 family and later expanded it to more Pixel devices.

Google has also said AirDrop support through Quick Share is expanding to more Android brands, including Samsung, OPPO, OnePlus, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Honor.

Xiaomi has not released a full list of supported phones yet.

Users with a Xiaomi phone and an Apple device can test the feature by opening Quick Share and checking whether the Apple device appears in the sharing menu.
