Poco has launched the Poco M8x as the latest member of its M8 series. The new smartphone comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, a large 7,900mAh battery, and a 120Hz display.
The Poco M8x features a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the display. A centered punch-hole houses the front-facing camera.
The phone comes in Leather Green, Black, and Blue. The Leather Green version features a vegan leather finish on the back. It also carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and splashes.
The Poco M8x is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset.
It comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Users can expand the storage further using a microSD card.
The phone runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Poco promises four generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Poco M8x features a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back, accompanied by an auxiliary camera and an LED flash.
An 8-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The smartphone packs a massive 7,900mAh battery and supports 45W wired fast charging.
It also supports 22.5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge other compatible devices from the phone.
The 4GB+128GB variant is priced at $220, while the 6GB+128GB model costs $240.
