Poco has officially confirmed that the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra will make their global debut on September 1, 2026, during an online launch event.
The new Poco phones are essentially the global versions of Xiaomi’s Redmi K100 Pro series. The Redmi K100 Pro is being rebranded as the Poco F9 Pro, while the Redmi K100 Pro Max is becoming the Poco F9 Ultra for international markets.
There is also a good chance that the Poco F9 series will officially launch in Pakistan. Poco has regularly brought its F-series flagships to the country through Xiaomi’s official local channels.
Poco has already revealed the design and some color options for both devices.
The Poco F9 Ultra has been shown in a Dark Cherry finish, while the Poco F9 Pro has appeared in Aurora Green.
Their designs closely match the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, further confirming the relationship between the Redmi and Poco models.
Poco has not yet officially revealed the complete specifications.
Despite sharing most of their hardware with the Redmi K100 Pro series, the global Poco versions are expected to arrive with smaller batteries.
The Poco F9 Pro is tipped to feature a 6,330mAh battery, while the F9 Ultra could pack an 8,050mAh battery.
Both phones are also expected to support 100W wired fast charging.
Most of the remaining specifications are expected to stay similar to their Redmi counterparts, although Poco has yet to confirm them officially.
The Poco F9 Pro is rumored to start at around $932, while the Poco F9 Ultra could cost approximately $1165.
These prices remain unofficial and may vary between regions.
Poco will reveal the complete specifications, final pricing, and regional availability of the global Redmi K100 Pro-based Poco F9 series during its September 1 launch event.
