Realme has launched the Realme P4s, the latest addition to its growing P4 series. The new smartphone focuses on gaming performance, a high-refresh-rate display and long battery life, while also offering AI-powered camera features.
The Realme P4s comes with a 144Hz AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, up to 12GB of RAM and an 8,000mAh battery. It also supports 80W fast charging and carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water.
The Realme P4s features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display supplied by Samsung and based on its M14 OLED technology. The screen has a 2,772 x 1,272-pixel resolution and supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
Realme claims the display can reach a peak brightness of 6,500 nits and supports HDR10+ for improved contrast and colors when viewing compatible content. The screen is protected by AGC DT Star D+ glass.
The phone also supports touch input with wet or oily fingers, making it easier to use the screen in less-than-ideal conditions.
For gaming, the 144Hz refresh rate is supported across five categories: FPS, MOBA, sports, racing and sandbox games. Realme also advertises support for gameplay at up to 90FPS and 144FPS, depending on the game.
The Realme P4s is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset. It is paired with Realme’s Hyper Vision+ AI Chip, a dedicated graphics processor designed to improve gaming performance and visual quality.
The phone is available with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0 out of the box. Realme has promised three years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
For cooling, the phone features a 7,000mm² vapor chamber (VC) cooling system. A vapor chamber is a cooling component that helps spread heat away from the processor during demanding tasks such as gaming.
Other features include dual stereo speakers and IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, giving the phone protection against dust and water under different conditions.
The Realme P4s has a 50MP primary rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). OIS helps reduce the effects of hand movement when taking photos and videos.
It is joined by an 8MP ultrawide camera with a 112-degree field of view for capturing wider scenes.
For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16MP front camera with an 85-degree field of view.
The rear cameras and LED flash are placed inside a multi-texture camera module. Realme has also added several AI-powered photography tools, including AI Light Me, AI StyleMe and AI Framing Master.
The Realme P4s packs a large 8,000mAh battery, which is one of the phone’s key features. It supports 80W wired fast charging for quicker charging.
The phone also supports reverse wired charging, allowing it to charge other compatible devices using a cable.
It also includes bypass charging, a feature that can supply power directly to the phone while gaming instead of continuously charging the battery. This can help reduce heat and battery stress during long gaming sessions.
The Realme P4s comes in Electric Cyan and Titanium Gray color options.
In India, pricing starts at around $367 for the 8GB/128GB model. The 8GB/256GB version costs about $398, while the top-end 12GB/256GB model is priced at $440. Note that pricing has been converted from INR to USD. International pricing is likely going to be different.
