Honor has quietly launched the Honor Turbo 5G, confirming most of the specifications that previously appeared through retailer listings.
The phone focuses on battery life and durability while offering a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, 120Hz AMOLED display, and 80W fast charging.
Honor claims the battery can provide more than three days of typical use and retain useful capacity through around 1,000 full charge cycles.
The Honor Turbo 5G features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2640 × 1200 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Honor claims up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness, DCI-P3 color coverage, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and slim 1.3mm bezels.
The phone measures around 161.9 × 76.1 × 7.76mm and weighs 196 grams. It comes in Beige, Green, and Black finishes.
Durability is another major focus. Honor confirms IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection, along with claimed drop resistance from heights of up to 2.5 meters.
The Honor Turbo 5G is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset.
It uses an octa-core CPU with one Cortex-A720 core at 2.3GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 2.2GHz, and four Cortex-A520 cores at 1.8GHz, paired with an Adreno 810 GPU.
The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
Other features include NFC, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Honor says the speakers can reach up to 400% volume in supported modes.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera and a 5MP ultrawide camera, while a 16MP camera handles selfies.
Honor also includes AI tools such as AI Eraser, AI Reflection Removal, AI Upscale, AI Silhouette, and AI-powered eye-opening for group photos.
The phone packs an 8,560mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W Honor SuperCharge and reverse wired charging.
Honor claims the battery can provide more than three days of typical use and retain useful capacity through around 1,000 full charge cycles.
The Honor Turbo 5G is listed in Russia starting at $411 for the 8GB+256GB version.
Although its design resembles the Honor X80 Pro Max, the two phones use different hardware, so the Turbo 5G is not simply a direct rebrand.
