Vivo has started teasing the design of its upcoming Vivo S60 series in China.
Han Boxiao, Product Manager at Vivo Communication Technology, recently shared new details about the lineup, highlighting a summer-inspired design theme with a reflective silver-white finish.
The teaser arrives as additional leaks continue to reveal possible specifications for the Vivo S60 and Vivo S60 Pro Mini.
According to Boxiao, the Vivo S60 series uses a silver-white rear panel inspired by sunlight reflecting on ocean waves during summer.
He said the light patterns on the back panel shift as the phone moves, creating a shimmering effect.
The company also mentioned a large integrated cold-carved glass rear panel designed to provide a smoother and more premium in-hand feel.
The teaser image suggests the standard Vivo S60 may continue using a top-left camera layout similar to the previous generation.
Meanwhile, the Vivo S60 Pro Mini could retain the horizontal camera module introduced on last year’s S50 Pro Mini.
Last week, tipster Digital Chat Station claimed the standard Vivo S60 may feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with slim bezels and rounded corners.
The device is also rumored to include a battery starting in the 7,000mAh range, along with support for 90W fast charging.
The phone is expected to feature a Sony IMX8 series periscope telephoto camera.
Other rumored features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, and a metal middle frame.
Leaks also suggest support for magnetic accessories through compatible cases.
Digital Chat Station additionally claimed that the Vivo S60 will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
There are currently no confirmed hardware details for the Vivo S60 Pro Mini.
However, other reports suggest both devices could support a telephoto extender accessory.
