Samsung is expanding its Galaxy Book 6 lineup with a more affordable model aimed at buyers who do not need the higher-end processors available on the existing versions.
The new Samsung Galaxy Book 6 uses Intel Core 3 and Core 5 processors instead of the Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 chips found in the current lineup. It keeps several of the series’ key features, including a 14-inch display, Galaxy AI tools, and a large battery.

The laptop measures 313 x 221 x 15.7mm and weighs 1.35kg.
Samsung offers the laptop with Intel Core 3 or Core 5 processors, paired with Intel Graphics. An Intel NPU provides up to 15 TOPS of AI performance, allowing the laptop to handle supported AI workloads locally.
The Galaxy Book 6 comes with 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options range from 256GB to 1TB.
The laptop also includes a 2-megapixel webcam capable of recording 1080p video. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos provide audio output.
The laptop packs a 61.2Wh battery rated for up to 25 hours of usage on a single charge.
Samsung includes a 45W USB Type-C charger, which can charge the battery to around 33% in 30 minutes.
Connectivity options include two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-A port, HDMI 1.4, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Galaxy Book 6 includes several Galaxy AI features, including AI Select, AI Cut Out, and Note Assist.
Depending on the configuration, it runs Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro 25H2.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 starts at $799. It is available in Violet Silver and Gray.
Samsung notes that specifications, configurations, colors, and available features can vary by region.
