The Pakistan Airports Authority has issued a new Notice to Airmen extending the closure of Pakistani airspace to Indian flights until September 24, 2026.

According to NOTAM No. A476/26, the restriction came into effect on August 18, 2026, and applies to all aircraft registered in India, Indian airlines, aircraft leased by India, and commercial or military aircraft owned or operated by Indian nationals.

The ban will remain in force until 4:59 am Pakistan Standard Time on September 24, 2026.

The closure of Pakistani airspace was first imposed on April 23, 2025, and the latest notification marks the 16th time the restriction has been extended.
