Vivo has introduced a new pair of budget true wireless earbuds called the vivo TWS 5i. The new model focuses on core features while keeping the price in the entry-level segment.
Battery performance is the main highlight of the TWS 5i. Vivo claims the earbuds can deliver up to 11.5 hours of playback on a single charge.
With the charging case, total battery life increases to around 50 hours, which should cover several days of regular use.
The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and dual-device pairing, allowing users to switch between two connected devices more easily.
Vivo has also included a low-latency mode rated at 42ms, which may improve responsiveness during gaming.
Sound is handled through vivo’s DeepX 3.0 tuning system, which includes multiple sound profiles.
The earbuds also support spatial audio. For voice calls, vivo has added AI noise reduction to help improve voice clarity in noisy environments.
Each earbud weighs 4.2 grams and uses a standard in-ear design. The lightweight build is intended to provide better comfort during longer listening sessions.
The vivo TWS 5i is priced at 119 yuan in China, which is roughly $17. The earbuds are available in Ink Black, White, and Sky Blue.
Vivo has not announced global availability at this time.
