The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced scheduled power outages in multiple areas on April 26 due to maintenance and repair work on electricity lines.

According to the notice, power supply will remain suspended from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm in areas linked to Sarfaraz Grid feeders, including Yousaf Chakwal, Ijaz Textile, Unilever, Abu Bakar, Ghani Gas, Sarfaraz, Yaqoob, ARK, Nishat Chunian, Shah Taj, Mezan Beverage, Medi Gas, KRK, Golden Textile, Ravi Imran, and adjoining localities.

In addition, LESCO said electricity will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in Shadman, while outages will also occur from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm in Chunian, Ghazi Fabrics, and areas connected to the Nishat Chunian consumer grid station.

Separately, power supply will be suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in areas including Qurtaba, Rewaz Garden, Lahore Cantonment, Rehman Park, Gulshan Ravi, and Bhati Gate.

LESCO further stated that electricity will remain intermittently suspended from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm in multiple areas, including KRK, Raiwind (new and old), Lalyani, Khuddian, Allahabad, Bhai Pheru, Chak 65, Manga Mandi, Punjab Small Industrial Area, Mandi Ahmadabad, Kanganpur, Pattoki, Chinar Bagh, Kasur (old and new), and Central Park grid station areas.

The utility said the outages are part of routine maintenance aimed at improving the reliability of the power distribution system. Consumers in affected areas have been advised to plan accordingly during the outage hours.
