Infinix has introduced the GT 50 Pro as the next model in its GT lineup, following the GT 30 Pro. The company is positioning the phone as a gaming-first device and the center of a broader GT Ecosystem with gaming accessories.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 1208 x 2644 pixels. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 330Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 2800Hz instant touch sampling. Peak brightness reaches 4,500 nits, while Gorilla Glass 7i protects the panel.

The phone includes pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers that support light presses, heavy presses, and sliding gestures. Each trigger can be assigned to four different controls, with sensitivity adjustable across 10 levels. Outside gaming, the triggers can also be used for shortcuts such as screenshots and screen recording. The GT 50 Pro comes in Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier colors.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, built on a 4nm process and clocked up to 3.25GHz.

Graphics are handled by the Mali-G720 MC6 GPU. It includes 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. Infinix has also added its N1 network chip to improve connection stability and reduce lag during online gaming. The device runs Android 16 with XOS 16.

Infinix says the phone will receive three years of Android OS updates and five years of security support. Cooling is handled by a liquid system using a micro-pump and ceramic heat pump that circulates coolant at 6.5ml per minute.

An optional GT Magcharge Cooler 2.0 accessory adds 12W thermoelectric cooling and supports wireless bypass charging.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and EIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera.

On the front, the phone uses a 13MP selfie camera. All cameras support video recording at up to 4K 60fps.

The GT 50 Pro packs a 6,500mAh battery. Charging options include 45W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging.

Additional features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and IP64 dust and water resistance.

Pricing starts at $406 for the 256GB model and rises to $464 for the 512GB version. Sales in Indonesia begin on April 25.
