The Capital Development Authority has published a list of 98 illegal housing schemes on its official website to protect citizens from rising property scams in Islamabad.
The authority said these housing and agro-farming schemes have no legal status as they lack required approvals and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
Officials urged the public to verify the legal status of projects before investing, noting that offers of cheap plots and housing units are misleading many people.
