Vivo has launched a new budget smartphone in China called the Vivo Y6c 4G.
The phone is already available for purchase in mainland China. Vivo is offering it in a single 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration at launch, priced at around $130.
The Vivo Y6c 4G has a 6.74-inch LCD with a waterdrop notch.
The display offers a 1600 x 720 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,200 nits of brightness. Vivo has also secured TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification for the screen.
The phone also carries SGS five-star drop and impact resistance certification. It has an IP65 rating, which gives it protection against dust and water splashes.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, boosted 150 percent volume output, and an infrared blaster that can control more than 3,000 models of TVs, air conditioners, and other appliances.
The Vivo Y6c 4G comes in three color options: Muyue Black, Liuyun White, and Xiaguang Blue.
The Vivo Y6c 4G is powered by the Unisoc T7225 chipset.
The 12nm octa-core processor includes two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, with a maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz. Graphics are handled by the ARM Mali-G57 GPU.
The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
It runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
The Vivo Y6c 4G keeps the camera setup basic.
It has an 8MP main rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The phone has a large 6,500mAh battery.
Vivo says the battery can remain healthy for up to five years of regular use. The device supports 15W wired charging.
The Vivo Y6c 4G is now on sale in China in a single 4GB + 128GB variant for 899 yuan, which is around $130.
