OPPO has launched the Reno16 F 5G in Pakistan as part of its new Reno16 series. The phone is available locally with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for Rs. 149,999.

The Reno16 F 5G brings a 120Hz OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset, a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

The OPPO Reno16 F 5G features a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 2372 × 1080 FHD+ resolution, up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum 240Hz touch sampling rate. The 10-bit panel supports 1.07 billion colors, has a pixel density of 397 PPI, and reaches 1,400 nits in high-brightness mode. It also comes with Crystal Guard protection and Splash Touch support.

The phone has a 92.8% screen-to-body ratio and carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. OPPO offers the phone in Pop White, Dream Purple and Twilight Violet finishes in its Pakistan listing.

The Pop White model measures about 8.58mm thick and weighs around 197 grams, while the Twilight Violet and Dream Purple versions are about 8.44mm thick and weigh around 195 grams. The phone measures approximately 158.16mm tall and 74.93mm wide.

The Reno16 F 5G is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset with an octa-core CPU and Arm Mali-G615 GPU. The Pakistan model comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It also supports expandable storage through a microSD card.

The phone runs ColorOS 16 and supports 5G connectivity. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, and an under-display optical fingerprint scanner.

OPPO has also included AI Snap Key, AI Mind Space, AI Bill Manager, AI Mind Pilot, AI Menu Translation, AI Live Translation, and AI Scan and Extract features. The company notes that the availability of some AI features can vary by region and software version.

The Reno16 F 5G has three cameras on the back. The setup includes a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with autofocus and 2-axis optical image stabilization, a 50MP f/2.8 telephoto camera with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera with a 116-degree field of view.

The telephoto camera supports zoom levels of up to 60x. On the front, the phone has a 50MP autofocus selfie camera with a 100-degree field of view.

Both the front and rear cameras can record video at up to 4K at 30fps. The phone also supports 4K Auto Straighten Video for correcting small tilts in handheld footage and Dual-View Video 2.0 for recording through the front and rear cameras at the same time.

The OPPO Reno16 F 5G packs a 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging. OPPO says the battery can charge from 1% to 100% in around 62 minutes under its test conditions.

In Pakistan, the Reno16 F 5G costs Rs. 149,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. OPPO’s Pakistan online store currently lists the device as a new launch.
