Vivo has officially introduced the Vivo Y600 Pro in China, bringing one of the largest batteries seen in a mainstream smartphone. The new model succeeds the Y500 Pro and significantly increases battery capacity while maintaining a relatively slim design.
This puts the phone on par with the likes of other battery champions, such as the Honor Win, Realme Narzo Power, and a few others.
The vivo Y600 Pro features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also includes an optical fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
Despite carrying a large battery, the device measures only 8.25mm thick. According to Vivo, that is just 0.4mm thicker than the previous generation.
The phone is offered in Black, Blue, Gold, and Violet color options. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The handset is the first smartphone to launch with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor. The chip is said to be similar to the Dimensity 7300 and 7300X models, but uses a slightly less capable Arm Mali-G610 MC2 GPU while improving power efficiency.
The software experience is handled by Android 16-based OriginOS 6.
The vivo Y600 Pro includes a 50MP primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization.
On the front, the phone features a 32MP selfie camera. The second rear module is used as an IR blaster.
The biggest highlight of the Y600 Pro is its 10,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with a rated 38Wh capacity. It uses fourth-generation silicon anode technology with 15% silicon content and an energy density of 886Wh/L.
Vivo claims the battery can deliver more than 24 hours of use, including up to 47 hours of calls, 28 hours of video playback, or 16 hours of navigation.
The company also says the battery can retain 80% of its original capacity after six years of regular use, based on 1,600 charging cycles.
The phone supports 90W fast charging and reverse wired charging, allowing it to charge other devices.
Pricing starts at $307 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The top-end 12GB RAM + 512GB variant is priced at $424.
