Vivo has quietly introduced the Vivo Y60 in China as a new addition to its Y series smartphone lineup.

The budget-focused 5G smartphone features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, a 6500mAh battery, a 120Hz display, and IP65-rated dust and water resistance.

The Vivo Y60 features a 6.74-inch LCD with a waterdrop notch design. The panel offers a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and support for refresh rates up to 120Hz.

The phone measures 167.40 x 77.10 x 8.39mm and weighs 209 grams. Vivo has also equipped the device with the SGS five-star drop and shock resistance certification. The smartphone is available in Shanhaiqing Blue, Lucky Purple, and Obsidian Black color options.

The Vivo Y60 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. The device is available with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Connectivity options include dual 5G SIM support, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type C, infrared remote control, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The device also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

For photography, the Vivo Y60 features a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash support.

On the front, the phone includes a 5MP selfie camera.

The Vivo Y60 packs a 6500 mAh battery with support for 15W charging and reverse charging.

The 6GB + 128GB model is priced at $265, while the 6GB + 256GB version costs $300. The top-end 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at $340.

Vivo has not yet announced global availability details for the Y60.
