Vivo has launched the S60 series in China with two models: the Vivo S60 and Vivo S60 Vitality Edition.
Both phones share several core specifications, including the same display size, large battery, fast charging, and software. However, the regular Vivo S60 gets a stronger chipset and an extra telephoto camera.
The Vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition feature 6.59-inch AMOLED displays with a 2750×1260 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Vivo says both displays can reach up to 5,000 nits of peak local brightness in HDR scenarios. Both phones also include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The rear camera island has a familiar design that resembles the iPhone 17 Pro series.
The Vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition come in Starry Sea, Early Summer Green, and Midsummer Night color options. The two devices also carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for ingress protection.
The Vivo S60 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition uses MediaTek’s new Dimensity 7500 chipset. It comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
Both phones run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
Both phones feature a 50MP front camera for selfies.
On the back, the Vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition have a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
The regular Vivo S60 adds a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, giving it a more capable camera setup than the Vitality Edition.
Both Vivo S60 models pack a 7,200mAh battery with 90W wired charging.
The Vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition will go on open sale in China from June 3. The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition starts at about $428 for the 8GB + 256GB version. The 12GB + 512GB model costs about $516.
The Vivo S60 starts at about $530 for the 12GB + 256GB version. The 16GB + 512GB model costs about $689.
