The Sindh Cabinet has approved a relief package for provincial government employees that includes a new differential allowance for Grades 1 to 16 and a 50 percent increase in conveyance allowance for all employees. The cabinet approved all allowances during its meeting, and the government will implement them from July 1, 2026. The government will pay employees in Grades 1 to 16 a Differential Allowance 2026 equal to 2 percent of their frozen 2022 basic pay.

The cabinet also increased the monthly conveyance allowance by 50 percent for all provincial government employees. The government raised the conveyance allowance for employees in Grades 1 to 4 from Rs. 1,785 to Rs. 2,678 per month.

It increased the allowance for Grades 5 to 10 from Rs. 1,932 to Rs. 2,898 and for Grades 11 to 15 from Rs. 2,856 to Rs. 4,284 per month. The government also increased the monthly conveyance allowance for employees in Grade 16 and above from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 7,500.

The cabinet raised the Special Conveyance Allowance for employees with disabilities from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 10,000 per month. However, the Sindh Cabinet rejected a proposal to introduce an executive allowance.
