Samsung has launched the Galaxy F70 Pro with a triple rear camera system, a 6,000mAh battery and six years of guaranteed software support.

The phone has launched in India for now, but may also arrive in other markets under a different name.

The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protects the screen.

The phone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The phone has Aurora Green and Alpha Black colour options available.

The Galaxy F70 Pro uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

It runs One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. Samsung has promised up to six years of operating system and security updates.

Connectivity features include 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC and a USB Type-C port.

The phone has three cameras on the back.

The setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

A 12-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy F70 Pro carries a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging.

As part of the launch offer, the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost about $250.

The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version will cost around $295. The top model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will cost approximately $345.
