The global Redmi Note 17 lineup has appeared in a new leak, revealing specifications for four models: the Redmi Note 17 4G, Redmi Note 17 5G, Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.
The latest information comes from YTECHB and includes display, chipset, camera, battery, memory and durability details for the upcoming phones. The global launch is expected soon, although Xiaomi has not yet confirmed these specifications.
Both versions of the Redmi Note 17 are expected to feature a 6.99-inch AMOLED display with a 2396 × 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1,800 nits and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
The 4G model is tipped to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2, while the 5G version will reportedly get the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4.
The 4G model is expected with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. The 5G version will reportedly offer 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage.
Both phones are said to feature a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 16MP selfie camera.
A 7,700mAh battery with 45W wired charging is expected on both models.
They are also tipped to carry an IP65 rating and run Android 16 with HyperOS 3. The phones reportedly measure 169.7 × 79.14 × 8.45mm and weigh 224g.
Color options are expected to include Celestial Purple, Sky Teal, and black.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro is tipped to get a smaller but sharper 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 2772 × 1280 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 3,500 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Expected colors include Sky Blue, Satin Orange, purple, and black .
It is expected to use the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, paired with 6GB, 8GB or 12GB RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.
The 128GB version reportedly uses UFS 2.2, while the 256GB and 512GB variants use UFS 3.1.
Its rear cameras are tipped to include a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide, while the front gets a 16MP camera.
The phone is expected to pack an 8,340mAh battery with 67W wired charging.
Durability ratings reportedly include IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K. The device measures 163.45 × 78.27 × 8.46mm and weighs 222g.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is expected to sit at the top of the global lineup.
The leak suggests it will use the same 6.83-inch display and rear camera setup as the Pro, although this part has not yet been confirmed.
It will reportedly upgrade the selfie camera to 32MP and use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset.
Memory options are expected to include 8GB or 12GB RAM with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB storage.
The 128GB model is tipped to use UFS 2.1, while the 256GB and 512GB versions reportedly move to UFS 4.0.
The Pro Max is also expected to have the largest battery in the series at 9,210mAh, along with 100W wired charging.
It reportedly measures 163.44 × 78.27 × 8.6mm and weighs 229.5g.
Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the global specifications or launch date, so the details remain leaks for now.
