The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Rawalpindi has activated a new alignment for EV Green Bus Route No. 2, following directives from the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi.
According to Secretary Regional Transport, the revised route from Fawara Chowk to Koral Chowk is effective immediately and will now pass through Kutchery Chowk to improve connectivity for commuters.
Under the new alignment, the bus service will operate through Fawara Chowk, Gawalmandi, Liaquat Bagh Station, Marrir Chowk Metro Bus Station, Marrir Hassan Stop, Punjab House, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Kutchery Stop, Jinnah Park, Jhanda Chichi, Ammar Chowk, Rahimabad, Umar Baig Chowk, Chaklala Stop, NASTP, Old Airport, Shah Khalid Colony, Meezan School (Quaid Campus), Gulzar-e-Quaid, and terminate at Koral Chowk.
The revised route is aimed at enhancing public transport accessibility and providing improved travel options for residents along the newly added corridor.
