A new ride-hailing app Drivver, is preparing to enter Pakistan after JazzWorld Enterprise Solutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with iTecknologi.
Drivver will offer ride-hailing services through different modes of transport, including cars, motorcycles and rickshaws, similar to rivals already present in Pakistan such as Yango and inDrive.
One of the platform’s key features will allow passengers and drivers using the Jazz network to access the Drivver app without consuming mobile data.
This means users will be able to book rides, accept ride requests, and manage trips without purchasing a separate internet package for the app.
Under the agreement, JazzCash will handle digital payments within the Drivver ecosystem.
iTecknologi will manage the platform’s technology, service innovation, and operations, while Jazz will provide connectivity and digital infrastructure support.
Ride-hailing services have become an important part of everyday transport in Pakistan, helping fill gaps created by limited public transport infrastructure while also providing new income opportunities.
In recent years, the sector has also started moving beyond traditional ride-hailing services toward a broader “super app” model.
These platforms are increasingly adding services such as courier deliveries, freight transport, and grocery services, creating more income opportunities and strengthening their role in Pakistan’s digital economy.
