Punjab Chief Minister has directed authorities to examine three development schemes for possible inclusion in the Annual Development Programme (ADP) 2026-27, aimed at improving Lahore’s road infrastructure and civic facilities.
The proposed projects include the construction and widening of Kitar Band Road from Multan Road to Ghausia Road.
Another scheme involves widening and covering Kharak Nala from Multan Road to the Motorway. The proposal also includes an access road and a motorway interchange.
Authorities have also been asked to examine the construction of service roads on both sides of the Motorway from Jinnah Terminal to Babu Sabu.
The Chief Minister’s Office has directed the relevant departments to take the necessary action and submit a summary for consideration.
