The Punjab Prisons Department is continuing its recruitment drive for lady warders for women’s prisons in Rawalpindi and other districts across the province.

According to officials, both the physical and written tests of candidates have been completed under a transparent process, with merit being maintained at every stage of recruitment.

The ongoing hiring campaign is aimed at filling vacancies in women’s prisons in Rawalpindi as well as Lahore, Faisalabad, and other districts.

Authorities said a complaint redressal system has also been put in place to facilitate candidates during the recruitment process. Under the mechanism, applicants can directly approach senior officials if they have any grievances related to the hiring drive.

Officials said complaints can be submitted to the Inspector General of Prisons and the Additional Secretary Home. A review board has also been formed to ensure that complaints are addressed on time and decisions are made transparently.

The department has reiterated that there will be no compromise on merit, transparency, or fairness during the recruitment process.
