Punjab has prepared a plan to set up a modern call center to verify medical services at Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics and Maryam Nawaz Hospitals and collect patient feedback.
According to documents, the Health Department has drafted a call center services framework for the 2026-27 financial year. Under the plan, patients will receive phone calls to confirm whether they received the promised healthcare services and to assess their satisfaction.
The proposed call center will have 140 call agents and four shift supervisors. It will verify at least 20,000 medical services daily, and all calls will be audio recorded.
The documents show that normal deliveries and long-term family planning services will receive 100 percent phone verification. Antenatal checkups will be verified at 30 percent, while OPD services, vaccination, TB treatment, and malnutrition screening and treatment will be verified at 25 percent.
If a patient does not respond to the first call or rejects it, officials will try twice more. If contact still fails after three attempts, another patient from an additional list will be selected for verification.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs140 million, though officials said the figure will be used only to determine the bid security amount.
