The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), in coordination with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), has raided an unlicensed internet service provider in Lahore.
PTA’s Zonal Office Lahore and FIA’s Corporate Crime Circle (CCC) Lahore conducted the raid at the premises of M/s Frontend Internet (SMC-Private Limited) in Kahna Nau, Ferozepur Road.
The company was allegedly providing internet services without a valid license from the PTA.
One person was taken into custody during the operation.
Authorities also confiscated 2 Cisco switches, 5 GPON OLTs, 19 patch cables, 3 cash memo books and 1 laptop from the premises.
The operation was carried out at Mustafi School Street near Mosque Bilal, Baddoki, Kahna Nau, Lahore.
