Oppo has introduced the standard Oppo K15 in China, expanding the series alongside the K15 Pro and K15 Pro+, which launched in April.

The new model follows the same overall design approach as its Pro counterparts and includes a built-in active cooling fan to control heat during gaming and other demanding tasks.

The Oppo K15 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2,760 × 1,256 pixels.

The screen supports 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz refresh rates and can reach a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. It also includes an optical fingerprint scanner beneath the display.

The phone measures 8.27mm in thickness and weighs 205 grams. It carries an IP69 rating for protection against dust and water.

Oppo offers the handset in Gale Grey and Speed White colour options.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super chipset powers the Oppo K15. It comes in a single configuration with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The cooling system combines an active internal fan with a 4,950-square-millimetre vapour chamber. This setup is designed to reduce heat and maintain stable performance during extended workloads.

Connectivity features include 5G, dual 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and NFC. The handset also includes an infrared sensor that can control compatible household devices.

On the software side, the Oppo K15 runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

The Oppo K15 features a dual-camera system on the back.

Its 50MP main camera supports autofocus and optical image stabilisation. A 50MP ultrawide camera joins it with a 143-degree field of view.

For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus.

The Oppo K15 is equipped with an 8,000mAh battery and supports 80W wired fast charging.

Its battery capacity matches that of the higher-end Oppo K15 Pro+ and is one of the main features of the device.

The phone is priced at approximately $340 for the sole 12GB and 256GB model. It is already available for purchase in China.
