The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is now official in China alongside a new gaming controller built for the device. Unlike the standard Ace 6 and Ace 6T models, the Ultra version uses a MediaTek chipset and focuses heavily on gaming performance, battery life, and cooling features.

The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra features a 6.78-inch BOE OLED display with a resolution of 1,272 x 2,772 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is a 10-bit panel with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage.

The screen can reach up to 3,600 nits of brightness at 25% APL. It uses DC dimming above 70 nits and high-frequency PWM dimming below 70 nits.

The phone uses an aluminum alloy frame, while the front is protected by tempered glass. The rear panel uses tempered glass on the Ace Awakening color option, while the Metal Storm version uses standard glass.

The handset includes symmetrically placed stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

It also carries IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings for splash resistance, water submersion, and hot water jet protection.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. According to OnePlus, the chip can deliver 165fps gaming performance in six popular games, including League of Legends: Wild Rift, Clash of Clans, Soul Knight , and Subway Surfers .

The chipset includes a 12-core Mali-G1 Ultra GPU, which is claimed to more than double ray tracing performance and improve overall graphics performance by 33% over the previous generation. Its octa-core CPU includes an ARM C1-Ultra core that reportedly boosts single-core performance by 32%. OnePlus said the phone can run Delta Force at 165fps for three hours with no performance drop while averaging 4.6W power consumption.

The USB-C port supports USB 2.0 speeds only and does not offer video output.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor sized at 1/1.55-inch with an f/1.8 lens and optical image stabilization. It also includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 16mm lens. On the front, the phone uses a 16MP selfie camera with the same 23mm focal length as the rear main camera.

The rear camera supports 4K video recording at up to 60fps, while the front camera supports 1080p video at 30fps.

OnePlus has also introduced a gaming controller priced at $65. The accessory adds four rear buttons with a 1.8ms response time, an extra antenna for stronger signal performance, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-C charging port. It also includes magnetic support for an optional cooling fan sold separately. The retractable design means it may also support other smartphones.

The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra packs an 8,600mAh dual-cell battery, making it one of the largest batteries ever used in a OnePlus phone. The phone supports bypass charging to reduce heat and battery wear during gaming when connected to power.

It also supports 120W fast charging. OnePlus says the battery can reach 53% in 20 minutes and 100% in 49 minutes.

Pricing in China starts at $555 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version. The 16GB + 256GB model costs $600, while the 12GB + 512GB version is priced at $645. The 16GB + 512GB model costs $690, while the top-end 16GB + 1TB version is priced at $790.
