The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has raided a foreign-operated call center in Islamabad’s G-8 sector as part of its ongoing crackdown on alleged cybercrime and fraud networks.

According to officials, the agency conducted the operation after receiving confidential information about the call center. The raid was carried out with approval from the competent authority and under a search warrant.

Foreign and Pakistani individuals allegedly involved in cybercrime were not present at the location when the raid was conducted.

The NCCIA seized digital devices and other important material from the call center. The confiscated equipment has been sent for forensic examination to determine its possible links to cybercrime and fraudulent activities.

The agency said its crackdown against organized cybercrime networks and illegal call centers is continuing. Authorities are particularly investigating networks allegedly using fake digital schemes to target citizens.

Officials said further details about the operation will be released after the investigation and verification process is completed.
