Milk sellers in Rawalpindi have increased the prices of milk and yogurt without formal approval, raising concerns over enforcement of price regulations in the city.

The price of milk has risen to Rs. 250 per kilogram, while yogurt is now being sold at Rs. 280 per kilogram, reflecting increases of Rs. 30 and Rs. 40 per kilogram respectively.

Despite reports of a sharp rise in milk prices, the district administration and relevant departments have not taken visible action.

Residents have expressed concern over the increase, stating that milk was already in short supply before the latest hike.

Consumers have criticized the lack of enforcement and urged the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) to take action against unauthorized price increases.
