Microsoft has introduced major Xbox console price increases across Europe and the UK, with some models now costing up to €200 or £170 more, which is worse than the previously announced hikes for the US and other regions. The increases range from €150 for the entry-level Series S to €200 for the other three models.

At current exchange rates, the entry-level Xbox Series S costs roughly the equivalent of $575 for European customers, according to Engadget.

The UK price range increases from £130 to £170. Microsoft’s official UK store now lists the 512GB Series S at £429.99.

The latest prices may not be final. Microsoft said in June that the cost of storage components had already more than doubled and then doubled again. It also expects another significant increase by the 2027 holiday period, with memory costs following a similar pattern.

Microsoft is not the only console manufacturer raising prices. Sony increased PlayStation 5 prices across several markets in April, while Nintendo has also announced recent price revisions for its gaming products.
