Microsoft has updated four Surface devices: the Surface Pro 13, Surface Laptop 13-inch, Surface Laptop 13.8-inch, and Surface Laptop 15-inch.

The new models run on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips. Snapdragon X2-powered versions are expected later this year.

The Surface Laptop 13.8-inch and Surface Laptop 15-inch receive the most notable upgrades.

Both models now come with new display options, including some versions with a privacy screen feature similar to the one used on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The Surface Laptop 15-inch also gets a higher resolution display. However, it still uses an LCD panel. OLED versions are expected to launch in the coming months.

Microsoft has also upgraded the trackpad on the Surface Laptop 13.8 inch and Surface Laptop 15 inch.

The new trackpad supports Windows 11 haptic feedback features. It gives subtle feedback when users interact with certain interface elements, such as snapping an app window or aligning objects.

The mid-range Surface Laptop 13-inch also gets the new Intel chips. Microsoft is now offering this model with an anti-reflective display. This version costs $1,499.

A lower cost model with 8GB of RAM and without Copilot Plus capabilities is also planned. It will be priced at $1,299.

The Surface Pro 13-inch receives a smaller update. Microsoft has upgraded it with the new Core Ultra chips, but it does not get the new touchpad found on the Surface Laptop models.

The flagship Surface Pro and Surface Laptop models start at $1,949 with Intel Core Ultra 5 chips and 16GB of RAM.

Microsoft says rising component prices are behind the higher prices.

These are the variants for business users. Consumer versions will likely launch alongside the OLED variants later this summer.
