CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah on Sunday reviewed several major infrastructure projects in Karachi, including the Red Line BRT mixed traffic corridor, Azeempura Flyover and Shahrah-e-Bhutto, during his fifth consecutive weekly inspection visit across the city.

During the visit, the chief minister announced that the Azeempura Flyover would be opened for traffic on June 15 and directed authorities to complete the remaining work on schedule.

He also reviewed progress on the Red Line BRT project and expressed satisfaction over the pace of construction. Murad Ali Shah instructed officials to ensure the associated flyover is also completed and made operational by June 15.

While inspecting the Azeempura Flyover project, the chief minister directed authorities to speed up construction work while maintaining quality standards and minimizing inconvenience for commuters.

According to officials, the flyover is expected to improve traffic flow between Azeempura, Malir Halt and the Korangi Road corridor, while reducing congestion on Shahrah-e-Faisal and surrounding roads.

Murad Ali Shah also visited the newly inaugurated Shahrah-e-Bhutto and reviewed traffic and security arrangements on the corridor.
