Honor has launched the Honor X6e in Malaysia, expanding its already crowded X6 series with another budget-focused model.
The phone features a large 7,500mAh battery, a 120Hz display, a 50MP main camera and 45W charging. Honor’s Malaysia website also confirms IP64 protection and SGS-certified drop resistance.
The Honor X6e comes with a 6.61-inch LCD offering a resolution of 720 × 1604 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,010 nits of peak brightness.
The phone carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Honor also says it can withstand drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters, backed by SGS certification.
It is available in Sunrise Gold and Midnight Black.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The X6e supports 4G only and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and a fingerprint scanner.
The Honor X6e has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture.
On the front, it comes with a 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The phone packs a 7,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, making battery capacity one of its main upgrades.
In Malaysia, the retail box includes a 45W charger, protective case, and pre-installed screen protector.
The Honor X6e is priced at or around $170.
