Forza Horizon 6 has reportedly leaked online nearly a week before its scheduled release.

According to reports, the full version of the upcoming racing game from Playground Games appeared on file-sharing sites over the weekend and was later cracked by pirates.

The leaked files reportedly surfaced after some Steam users gained access to an unencrypted preload version of the game.

Reddit users reportedly noticed the game files, which total more than 150GB, appearing online before Reddit’s legal operations team removed related posts.

However, online cracks designed to bypass the game’s online checks are already reportedly circulating online.

Earlier this year, a pre-release PC version of Death Stranding 2 reportedly faced a similar issue after an encrypted Steam preload was downloaded and shared online.

It remains unclear why the preload versions of both games were reportedly left unencrypted.

According to the reports, the game includes the largest map ever seen in a Forza Horizon title and will launch with more than 550 cars.

Forza Horizon 6 will feature a setting based in Japan, including Tokyo’s neon streets and buildings.

The game is scheduled to launch on May 19 for Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games are also reportedly preparing a PlayStation 5 release for later this year.
