The Capital Development Authority (CDA) demolished an FC Camp office in Islamabad as part of its ongoing anti-encroachment drive, targeting illegal structures on public land.
The operation took place near Marriott and Ayub Chowk on the green belt and was carried out under the supervision of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
CDA Chairman and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Sohail Ashraf, was present at the site during the demolition. Officials from the Frontier Corps (FC) also attended, while CDA enforcement teams and the district administration used heavy machinery to remove the structure.
Mohsin Naqvi said the anti-encroachment drive would continue without exception, adding that illegal structures are being removed without pressure or interference.
He said the government would provide alternative legal space for the FC Camp office and reiterated a zero-tolerance policy against encroachments. The minister added that no public or private entity would be allowed to occupy state land illegally, emphasizing efforts to restore Islamabad’s original planning.
