The Balochistan government has announced a public holiday across the province on Wednesday, August 26, on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

The Balochistan Home and Tribal Affairs Department has issued an official notification confirming the holiday.

According to the notification, the decision was taken in line with the federal government’s announcement of a nationwide public holiday on August 26 for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

All government and semi-government offices, as well as educational institutions across Balochistan, will remain closed on Wednesday.

Processions, Milad gatherings, and Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) conferences will be held across the province to mark 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal.

Preparations are also underway to illuminate government and private buildings with decorative lights for the occasion.
