Asus officially confirmed its exit from the smartphone market in January, but a new leak suggests the company is still working on tablets.

Fresh renders have now revealed the first look at the upcoming Asus Pad, along with several key specifications.

Leaked images show the Asus Pad with relatively slim bezels for a tablet. The device is rumored to feature a 12.2-inch dual-layer OLED display. The panel is expected to support a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is also said to include Dolby Vision support. The tablet is reportedly 6.5mm thin and weighs 523 grams.

The Asus Pad is expected to support Dolby Atmos audio. It is also rumored to include a 9,000mAh battery with fast charging support. However, the exact charging speed has not been revealed.

The leak also shows a first-party protective case for the tablet. The accessory appears to include a foldable stand that can hold the device upright.

This is the only information currently available through the latest leak.

Asus has not confirmed the tablet, and there is still no official word on its launch timeline or release plans.
