Vivo has officially introduced the Y6t in China as the latest addition to its budget smartphone lineup. The new device combines 5G connectivity, a high refresh rate display, and a large battery, targeting users looking for affordable everyday performance. The vivo Y6t features a 6.74-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The screen also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which should provide smoother scrolling and improved responsiveness.

The phone measures 167.4 x 77.1 x 8.39 mm and weighs 209 grams.

It is offered in Black, White, and Blue color options. For security, the device includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. The phone also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Powering the vivo Y6t is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. The smartphone supports 5G connectivity and is available in multiple memory and storage configurations. On the software side, the device runs Android 16 with vivo’s OriginOS 6 skin on top.

For photography, the vivo Y6t features a 13MP rear camera.

On the front, the phone includes a 5MP selfie camera for video calls and self-portraits.

The vivo Y6t is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery. Charging support is limited to 15W wired charging.

The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version is priced at $249. The 8GB RAM + 128GB model costs $278. Vivo is also selling a 6GB RAM + 256GB storage version for $278.
