Vivo has launched the Y500 in Pakistan with a large 8,100 mAh battery, a 1.5K AMOLED display, and two storage options.

The phone is available for pre-order from June 20 to June 26, while nationwide sales will begin on June 27.

The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version costs Rs. 99,999 in Pakistan. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at Rs. 109,999.

Vivo is also offering an additional one-year warranty during the promotional period, giving eligible buyers two years of total warranty coverage. The offer applies to Y500 pre-orders and purchases made between June 20 and July 5.

The Vivo Y500 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,800 × 1,260 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The panel offers a pixel density of 449 PPI, up to 2,000 nits of high-brightness output, and up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness.

The phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 94.47% and includes low-blue-light, low-flicker, and sunlight-readability certifications.

It is available in Midnight Blue and Pearl White. The Midnight Blue version measures 8.40mm thick, while the Pearl White model measures 8.52mm. Both versions weigh around 215.72g.

The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also has MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock-resistance certification. Other design features include dual stereo speakers, wet-hand touch support, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

The 6nm Unisoc T7300 processor powers the Vivo Y500. Its octa-core CPU includes two cores running at up to 2.2GHz and six cores operating at up to 2.0GHz.

The phone is available with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Users can extend the available memory by another 8GB through software, but the phone does not support expandable storage.

The Pakistan model supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks but does not offer 5G connectivity.

It runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and includes features such as Circle to Search, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, and AI Creation.

The phone also uses a 3,000mm² vapour chamber cooling system and supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, USB-C, and OTG.

The Vivo Y500 has a dual rear-camera setup led by a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture.

A 2MP f/2.4 bokeh camera accompanies the main sensor.

The rear camera modes include Night, Portrait, Panorama, Pro, Time-lapse, Slow-motion, Dual View, and Underwater Photography.

For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 32MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Vivo Y500 has an 8,100mAh BlueVolt battery with support for 44W wired charging.

It also supports bypass charging, reverse charging, and a battery-life extension mode.
