Vivo has expanded its T5 lineup with the new vivo T5e, an entry-level smartphone featuring a large battery, a 90Hz display, and a durable design.
The launch follows the recent arrival of the vivo T5 Lite, while the company is also preparing to introduce the vivo S2.
The vivo T5e features a 6.74-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The phone measures 8.19mm thick and weighs 199 grams. It comes in Aero Blue and Shadow Grey color options.
It also carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes, along with MIL-STD-810H certification for durability.
A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is included for security.
The vivo T5e is powered by the octa-core Unisoc T7225 chipset.
It comes in a single configuration with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.
Users can expand the storage using a microSD card. The phone runs Funtouch OS 16.
Connectivity options include dual 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
The vivo T5e has a single 13MP rear camera housed inside a pill-shaped camera module.
For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 5MP front camera.
The vivo T5e packs a 5,500mAh battery and supports 15W wired charging.
The phone is available in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration priced at $146.
