Classes at the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore New Campus in Kala Shah Kaku were shifted online on Tuesday after the closure of the SK Toll Plaza Interchange disrupted access to the facility.

According to university spokesperson Dr Tanveer Qasim, the blockage of key entry routes to the campus created significant travel difficulties for both students and faculty members.

In response, the administration decided to conduct all classes online for the day to ensure the safety and convenience of students.

The spokesperson clarified that the decision applies only to the New Campus in Kala Shah Kaku. Academic activities at the main campus and other campuses of the university continue as per the regular schedule.

Students have been instructed to attend their classes through designated online platforms and stay updated with any further announcements issued by the university administration.
