The Sindh College Education Department has directed all public and private educational institutions under its administrative control to observe a five-day working week from Monday to Friday with immediate effect.
The department issued the notification with the approval of the competent authority and said the new schedule will remain in force until further orders.
The notification applies to all public and private colleges that fall under the administrative control of the College Education Department.
The department said it will issue separate notifications regarding the working hours for single-shift and double-shift colleges.
