The registration process for the online auction of attractive vehicle registration numbers for the month of September has commenced through the e-Auction App and Web Portal, developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in collaboration with the Punjab Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department.
Citizens can register online through the e-Auction App and Web Portal until September 30.
Interested individuals can register online until September 30 to participate in the auction and obtain their preferred registration numbers. The e-Auction platform includes the auction of registration numbers for motorcycles, motorcars, and commercial vehicles. Details of successful bidders will also be made available on the e-Auction App.
In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said that the e-Auction platform is providing citizens with the facility to participate in the auction of their preferred registration numbers from the comfort of their homes through a convenient, secure, and transparent digital process.
He further said that the online auction system is not only making the traditional process more efficient and streamlined but also ensuring greater transparency and convenience for citizens through the use of modern digital technology.
