Pakistan’s National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Advancement Initiative (NAAI) is set to receive new digital and office equipment as the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) moves to strengthen the infrastructure supporting the country’s AI projects.
The equipment will provide the initiative with additional computing, printing, scanning, and presentation capabilities needed for its ongoing and future activities.
The procurement is part of the government’s efforts to advance artificial intelligence capabilities in Pakistan and improve the operational capacity of the NAAI.
According to the Request for Proposal (RFP), MoITT plans to purchase a range of equipment for the NAAI project.
The procurement has been divided into four lots covering:
The equipment is intended to provide the NAAI with the office and digital infrastructure required to support its activities.
The ministry has specified that all equipment supplied under the procurement must be new and defect-free. The equipment must also come with warranties.
The procurement requirements include installation arrangements and after-sales support for the supplied equipment.
MoITT has invited eligible suppliers to participate in the procurement process. Suppliers must submit their bids through the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority’s electronic procurement system, along with hard copies.
According to the RFP, bids must be submitted by 11:00 am on August 25, 2026. The bids are scheduled to be opened at 11:30 am on the same day.
The procurement forms part of MoITT’s efforts to equip the NAAI with the infrastructure needed to support ongoing and future AI-related projects in Pakistan.
