More than 30 international flights scheduled for Gulf countries were cancelled from major airports across Pakistan on Monday, while bad weather also disrupted several domestic flight operations.
According to reports, eight flights bound for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Bahrain were cancelled from Allama Iqbal International Airport.
At Jinnah International Airport, authorities cancelled 12 international flights, while six flights were cancelled from Islamabad International Airport.
Two flights each were also cancelled from airports in Sialkot and Multan.
Officials said adverse weather conditions affected nearly 20 domestic flights as well. Six flights operating from Lahore to Karachi were cancelled, causing inconvenience for passengers.
In addition, eight domestic flights scheduled to land in Multan, Faisalabad, and Peshawar were also cancelled due to poor weather conditions and operational challenges.
Airport authorities advised passengers to stay in contact with airlines for updated flight schedules and travel advisories.
