Badminton coaches and physical education teachers from across Pakistan received first-ever machine-based training during a seminar organized by Razi Sports Academy at Shalimar Club.

Around 40 male and female participants were trained through a shuttle feeding machine, introducing them to advanced coaching methods and modern badminton training techniques aimed at improving coaching standards in the country.

International badminton coach Raziuddin Ahmad briefed the participants on international badminton requirements, contemporary techniques, and high-performance training methods.

He also encouraged young coaches to adopt modern approaches for developing players at the school level.

Experts also delivered sessions on key areas linked to athlete development, like physical fitness, nutrition, and highlighted anti-doping awareness in sports.

Pakistan’s international Davis Cup player Inam-ul-Haq shared his experiences and spoke about the challenges athletes face during international competitions, along with strategies to overcome them.

Raziuddin Ahmad said Razi Sports Academy plans to organize training camps across the country and provide shuttlecocks at school-level campuses to promote badminton among young players.

He added that the academy would work to identify and groom talented players for national and international competitions.
